My problem is when I insert an object into my word document. I do the Insert->Object->Excel worksheet. I can edit it and play with it as much as I want, but as soon as I click on something outside of the object, it gets converted to an image, and I cannot do anything else with it. If I double click on it I get an error that reads something like 'Server application not found. Application is either renamed, moved or deleted.' Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

This might sound weird to you if the answer is yes: Do you have the full office package? Your problem appears if you have only Word installed. "Excel viewer" isn't enough. I can imagine that the same thing goes if you have different versions of Word and Excel (Word 2002 and Excel 2000 for example), but I'm not sure.

Good luck

Hi Patrik,
I do have the full office, Office SBE 2000. I did the office install at once (I didn't do word first and then add excel later). Thanks for any guidance you can offer! :)

How about the installation path?

Strange things tend to happend if you don't install into the standard (sudjested) path...

If that one's OK, then I really haven't got a clue...

Yea, path is default, everything is default except that it is a full install of office, you know how some options are not installed, and some are only installed on first use...Everything is instlled.
