I installed XP pro on a couple of computers and assigned them both to a workgroup (not a domain). I also set up the user accounts. Now, when the computers start up the users names are listed on the screen. They click their name and log in.
I would prefer the traditional Ctrl Alt Del to get an input box where you type your name in, and not have the accounts shown on screen.
Does anyone know how to change this? Another problem is that the administrator account does not get listed on the screen. How do you log in as administrator if you can’t type the name in?
