I've almost given up on trying to get Sidekick 2.0 for Windowns to work in XP, but I find the lack of wordwrap when I am typing a memo in 98/99 irritating. Does anyone know how to do this, or is there a work-around other than typing a memo and then formatting the paragraph?

Also, is there any way to bring Sidekick 2.0 notefiles into SK 98/99 other than by making .txt files out of them? That is very combersome with large files.

Thanks..

Bob

Dear Bobsco,
You can just open the Sidekick2 (&&&&&.Fdr) Memo/note File using the File|Open dialog in SDK98.
Just click the arrow at the side of the
Files of Type text box.

Thanks, Jim.

That gets the files in. Now the problem of wordwrap remains. In SKW2 subject column and content were both always present. In SK98/99 you can select to see both, or content only. I have no problem if dealing with a memo/note in full page view, but when both are viewed together, the ends of sentences become hidden. Other than laboriously re-formatting each note, I can't see any way to fix this problem.

Dear Bob,
I think I see what you mean,
The Index and Memo views of the Memos....

Hmmm there doesn't seem to be an answer to that one, I hadn't remembered that the lines were wrapped when you viewed the Memos in Index view in SDK2.

Ctrl+E does cycle between the two views.

I haven't got it (SDK2) on this machine (I'm at work) I will try and check it out at home in the next few days, the delay being that I have very little time at home this week.
Regards Jim
