Do any of you have any hints/helps for converting from Wordperfect to Word. I work with lawyers who won't give up their WP. But more and more, our clients expect documents in Word. So, we use Word about 50% of the time. Apostrophes and dashes almost never convert correctly. And when you use Word, it tries to "take over" outlining, etc. I am working on lists of ideas I have found that make the conversion better, but so far, I've never found a way to open a perfectly clean Wordperfect document in Word.

I feel your pain! I've got nearly the same situation here. The boss does not want to give up WP. Sorry I can't offer a solution (yet) but I may peek in on any other responses.

At least we'll know we're in this together! I haven't really found anything other than what I have learned through trial and error. This will be my mission in life very soon, so I may just post my own findings. At least we can get people talking about it.

When I post my findings, I'll probably use a different thread. Also, if you guys learn anything on this, please pass it along.

In the meantime, I think there are a lot of us out there!
