Hello.

This problem just surfaced in our office. We have a mix lot of NT4 and 2k machines. Now, if we create a doc in Word 2000 and set it to print on Legal Size paper, the doc gets cut off. Is this a margin thing? It seems like the bottom margin just set itself to 3.18" even we have the paper size set to Legal. Any idea why? What we are doing now is cut and paste the text to a legal size doc that was created by Word 2000 earlier and the printout is fine. No changes were made to the printer. So this must be a Word problem, right? Any idea.

Thanks in advance

Have you tried reinstalling your printer driver? You might be able to find a more recent version on the manufacturer's Web site.

Also check which default printer is being used on the machines that "won't" print to legal size. Word starts with the default printer values and if the default printer doesn't support legal, then the document won't format to legal size.
