I cannot edit any Excel object that I insert into a Word document. It "looks" OK, but cannot be edited or changed once I click outside the object. The error message says, "Object is corrupt or is no longer available."

I've closed other apps, opened Excel, made sure the "ignore other apps" is not checked in the Excel options... none of which made a difference.

Any ideas? Thanks!

If that fix doesn't work, try disabling the Office plugin in Norton.

Thank you! Worked like a charm. I had just located the same fix info at the MS site when I went there to run available updates.
