Word XP Links

Does anyone know of a way to have word automatically update links with out it comeing up with the "Do you want to update links etc etc." box when you open the document. I've set all the links to "automatic" in the links dialog box, but this doesn't seem to do the trick

What do you mean by update links? Update data? Update a change in a URL (if it is a htperlinks)?

Word's 'Update automatic links at open' option doesn't ask whether to update links: it just does it.

Excel's 'Ask to update automatic links' option asks whether to update links, but this can be turned off.

Ahhhh. Tracked it down. It was an emergency patch from MS we put on to solve a links bug that effects some machines that haven't got SP 2 or 3 (can't remember)which.
