I'm not sure if this is the right forum, but cannot find information anywhere else.

I have a form that has a number of columns diaplaying date from selected records. Column one is for the item name, which can sometimes be longer than the colum for that field.

Is there any way I can word wrap this (and other) columns if needed so that the column expands downwards but does not alter the column widths?

Thanks in advance.

Sorry, this should read Report, not Form...

You can definitely have your controls "grow". There is an option for each control, in the Properties box in the Formatting tab, that says "Can Grow". Set this to true. It works like a charm. You can also mess with "Can Shrink", as it achieves a similar goal.

Thanks foolio,

I tried this. All the fields in the report have 'can grow' property except the one I want to grow. This property is not in this field.
The data for this field comes from a link between two reports.
I have tried changing the 'can grow' property in the original form to 'can grow' but that has no effect on the form.
Any ideas?

Solved the problem guys. I remade my query to drag info from the original form instead of the link and it worked. Thanks for your help.
