Hello all,

I get a lot of word docs from legal firms, and what they do is Remove all Tracked Change information before they send the document to me, the problem is the formatting from track changes stays "Blue Double Underline for inserts" "Red Line Strike Through for deletes"

I can't Hit "Accept all changes and remove the above formatting" because the Document will say "There is no Track Change information."

So is there a way such as a macro to remove the double underline and change the color from blue to black in text and to delete text that is Red and strikethrough?
Word version - 2003

Thank you in advance,

Mostly likely those docs are DeltaView docs. Go to marked text and see if the word DeltaView is part of style name. If so, you can do globals for any styles that reflect text that has been deleted and replace it with nothing. For the styles that reflect text that's been inserted, you can just deleted those and then that formatted will be removed. Sometimes DeltaView formatting stays with autonumbering, so if that happens you will need to remove it from then autonumbering definition.
