Word table borders are printing when they shoud not

I have multiple workstaions that have Office 97 and Office 2000. Some documents that are created in Word 97 and modified in Word 2000 are printing the table border. When user print preview in Word 2000 they do not see the border but it prints out. I've only noticed this for document created in Word 97. Any Idea on how to stop the border from printing with out haveing the user modify the table properties every time.

Sounds to me like the person in 97 is auto-saving down to 6.0/95, which would cause this behavior.

Go to their Tools-Options, Save tab to see the default save-as type.
