Is there a way on a multi page Word doucment to have the numbering begin on page 2 (which can be done) but start page 2 numbered as page 1? (Like having a title page before the document) Of course, this can be accomplished with 2 separate documents but I'd like to keep them as one.

Thanks for you help.

PS this can be done in WordPerfect.

Hi coach4u,

On the Page Number Format Dialog (use Icon on Header & Footer Toolbar) Click on Start at Page and set the Page Number to zero. That way Page 1 will be numbered 0 (but suppressed), Page 2 will be numbered 1, etc.

Enjoy,
Tony

Follow tony's advice but you might have to insert a section break after page 1. Make sure the "same as previous" button on the same toolbar is toggled off.
