In my Word configuration I use the blue background with white text. When using Word as my email editor with Outlook when I reply to emails the text by default goes to blue and as a result you cannot see the text. It is inconvenient to have to switch font color every time I reply to an email. I have looked at all the options in both Word and Outlook and I do not see any setting to fix this issue.

Hi kbestle,

This ought to do it:

In Outlook, select Tools > Options > Mail Format tab
Under Stationery and Fonts, click on Fonts...
Under "When replying and forwarding", click on Choose Font
Under "Color" Select Auto
Click OK, OK, OK to get out.

Enjoy,
Tony
