I am basically trying to use word to show a list of people, with just name, address, etc in a table in word. I have all the details in an access table, and maybe I am missing something very obvious here, but I can't find a way to show more than one record (person) on the same page.

(I know that using a report in access is one way round this, but basically I need the finished result as a word file)

Any ideas???

Suppose you have:

<name><address><city,state,zip>

on your page. To make it give you subsequent records instead of the SAME record on the whole page, all further merge fields must read:

<nextrecord><name><address><city,state,zip>

You can get the nextrecord field from the mail merge toolbar, hit Merge fields. It's one of those.

Thank you SO much - I presumed there was a simple answer. I think the phrase involves wood and trees...

Thanks a lot.
