Word - How to stop hyperlinks accessing C: drive?

Hi and Help,

I'm the Network Manager at a High School and the kids have discovered how to get around part of the WinSuite software we use by using Word 2000 and putting in links like file://c:\windows . Is there any way of stopping this?
