Word forms won't spell check

We've created a from, locked the cells (ctrl = F11) and have protected the form. We will type a word into a field (this spelled "ths&quot, unprotect the form, run spell check and it will say everything has beed checked and everything is spelled correctly. Why isn't it catching the misspelled word? Do we need to do something else?

First, you must use code to spell-check a form by unprotecting and then reprotecting it. Otherwise, when you reprotect the form, it will lose all of the entered data. Email me if you'd like a copy of the coded file. Secondly, to fix the form, open the original, hit Ctrl-a to select everything in the form, and hit Tools-Language-Set Language to English (I presume). I'll bet money some or all of the text is set as "no proofing". You may also need to then go to Tools-Options-Spelling and grammar tab and hit the Recheck Document button. Then run spellcheck again for a legit spellcheck.
