Word file open dialog - get list view to stick?

Hello o fellow tippers,

I'm using Word 2002, and often use the Insert Graphic... From File... command. What's really been bugging me lately is that the resulting file-open dialog box always shows the files in icon view. Considering that I sometimes have to scroll through hundreds of graphic files, it's much more convenient for me to work in list view. I can change it to list view, of course. But the next time I issue the command, the dialog is back to icon view.

Any way I can get the list view to "stick"?
