There is a particular document that is causing trouble, but only on one person's machine on our network. Everyone else seems to be able to open and work in the doc fine, however one particular user has huge problems with the doc crashing frequently. This user does not seem to have the problem with other word docs, only this one.
We have tried renaming the doc, restarting but the problem persists.
Any advice?
We are running word 2000, on windows 95

You could try saving the document as a web page and then saving that as a word document. This will strip out quite a few problems but preserve the majority of formatting.

If that doesn't work, try RTF format.
