hello all, i hope i hit the right forum for this one. i am running m.s. office xp and i have a issue w/ one work station only and i am guessing that i am over looking something here. when ever the person gets email in .doc format that has a picture in it the file will open but the doc is blank..no images no text no nothing..i have checked anti virus(avg 7.0) and firewall(zone alarm) to make sure they are not taking out the guts of the doc and they are both leaving it alone...thanks very much for any help with this so i can get this person off my a$$ about it....

Hi,
How is Word configured on the pc? Check Tools/Options/View tab. Uncheck Picture Placeholders.
