Word & Front Page + Pictures

I have some nice looking pictures within a word document, however when I cut or copy and past into a front page document the quality of the photo becomes poor. Is there a better way of getting the picture into front page from a word document?

First, if you are using pics for the web, you should have them residing on your disk and have the copyright for them.

Next, try leaving the photos in word and saving the file as an .htm. Once you do this you can open the page you just saved in FrontPage and add text, tables, or whatever else you'd like. At that point there should be very little resolution loss.

Last, If you are increasing the size of the photos that may be the result of your loss of quality.
