Word 97 Read Only Network Share Error

Office 97

When opening Word document from customers H: Drive (nas/san) document opens as a read only, if closed and then re-opened it's fine. If document ic copied to local machine opens fine, permissions for H: drive are Ok, all other office apps fine.
