Hello there everyone, first time user here. I normally hang around the Crystal Reports area. Interesting problem has crept up to my office:
We are currently migrating from NT 4.0 to XP in the office. We intend to keep Office 97 for most everyone as Office XP is just not feasible.
OK some .DOT's fail to open in XP using Office 97 or Office 2000. XP systems with Office XP can open the template just fine. The existing NT systems using Office 97 can also open the templates fine.
The templates were created in 97 on NT.
Not all the .DOT's fail to open in XP, however the ones that do fail, fail everytime.
Moving the template local to the user had no effect of failure or not.
Can anyone help me? Is this a known issue? I searched the FAQ and keywords and was unable to locate help.
Thank You
