Hello everyone, on the four corners of my documents appear these queer objects that annoy me. They look something like that

1 1
1 1
111 111

1 1
1 1
111 111

How do I get rid of those things which I don't even know the name to?

Thank you

I'd guess you have the Print Layout choice selected in View. Try the Normal view.

When all else fails, I usually close Word, do a file search for normal.dot and delete it [after first copying it to a floppy disk]. Restart Word and see it the problem is corrected, sometimes takes doing it twice. Word rebuilds the default template when it goes missing.
