We are upgrading from Office 2K to Office 2K3. If you're on a Windows XP box and you are editing a document in the Normal View, the dotted lines that represent the page breaks update normally. If you are on a Windows 2000 box, the page breaks do not refresh as they are supposed to. They either disappear or are in the wrong place, depending on what you do.

(You may have to switch to Print View and back to Normal View to initially see this)

Has anyone encountered this? I searched the forum but didn't find anything. If there is already something, please point me to it.

Thanks!!!

This isn't anything to do with the OS or the Office version. Most likely you have background repagination switched off on the 2000 box. In Normal View, go to Tools > Options > General tab and it's the first checkbox (it's greyed out in Print layout View).

Enjoy,
Tony
