Word 2002 - Spell Check stopped working

I have a PC that for some reason has stopped spell checking.

All settings in Tools -> Options -> Spell Checking are correct
Have run Rec-Check document on the same tab
Have pulled up old documents and inserted deliberate mistakes, but still no red wavy underline
When spell check from the tool bar, it does not find any errors (only grammer)
Language settings are correct

What else can I check?

Hi,
If it's Word XP and you checked everything in the Tools | Options | Spelling and Grammar tab, have you tried running the Detect and Repair command on the Tools menu?
