Word 2002 (Office XP) Falls over on save

This is a problem that a few of my users are suffering with. After they have typed a document and choose Save As Word just closes. Then they get a Recovered Document next time they open Word, but this obviously only recovers to last autosave.

This happens to our users running Windows XP Pro, with Office XP.

Another of my users has a similar problem. When she tries to change a font in Word, word crashes out and closes down, she then has a recovered document.

I'm trying a re-install for the first post, as the user cannot work at the moment, i'll post if the re-install of Office XP works.
