Hi,

Whenever a user creates a document in Word 2000 and saves it and sends it to another perosn via email the formatting is all different. The fonts, page length, etc will be different on the recievers machine. At times the reciever is using Word 2000 and sometimes Word 2003. I've tried copying over the normal.dot template over to the recivers machine, but that didnt help.

THanks for you help!

Are the same fonts installed on the source machine as the destination? Have they used a particular font that is not on the destination computer? Same printer? as this can affect page length and width etc.

Yes, same fonts installed. Both are Word 2000.

Have you tried checking styles? These can differ even for one document on the same machine, with the same names setting different defaults.
