Word 2000 vs 2002 compatability

My application automates Word and worked fine with Word 2000. If have loaded Word 2002 and it still works but when I now load onto my client's PC with Word 2000 it crashes.

The document is loaded and populated but crashes on 'wordobject.activedocument.print'. It comes up with a message "... has encounterd a problem and needs to close ...".

It seems as though recompliing with a different version of Word loaded produces a different exe.

What's going on?

You can directly use the thread reference at the top of a thread as a link by

a) copying and pasting it, e.g for the thread you reference: thread796-836537

b) just typing it (just ensure no space between 'thread' and the thread number), e.g. for this thread
