I am curious if anyone knows what mechanism Word uses for it's auto-date function (when you begin to type in a date, it fills in today's date for you). Recently, a user in my group has experienced a lag in the date. For instance, if today's date is 8/11/03, when she types out the date, Word will fill in 8/8/03. However, a check of the system time in Windows shows that it is correct. Anyone ever encounter this before? Usually a reboot solves the problem, but only temporarily.
