WON'T SEE PS/2 MOUSE

I did a clean install of XP Pro using a serial mouse and now it won't see any PS/2 mouse. It's a Logitech mouse and it works fine on my 2nd computer (running the same O/S with an identical motherboard). I tried the "Add New Hardware" function but it doesn't see the mouse at all .....

What's the trick ? :O)

Try having a look at your device drivers and changing the serial to a PS2, failing that remove the serial and then do a scan for the PS2 mouse.
