Wmp11 Ver 2.7 in windows 2000 - wlan monitor says it's not installed

Hey, I have had this issue with my previous asus motherboard I thought changing hardware would correct the problem but i think it is just plain out a win2k issue... the card worked once with windows 2000 cleanly installed on my system now the wlan monitor says it's not installed. Yet in device manager it says that it's fine and working properly.. ?? Can some one give me some advice. I have went thru loops with linksys tech support...

you must provide propper information to be able to get advice (settings aso).
