WMP 9.0 Beta Streamin Issues

hi,

I just upgraded to wmp 9 and the problem i face now is that i cannot watch ANY streamin videos on the net , it just buffers and that's about it , the vidoes just dones' play.

BUT if do copy the mms location and mplayer2 (media player 6.4) in the installed folder , the file plays flawlessly,

Now my question is there any way that I can assign mplayer2 to play the streamin videos or make wmp9 play it right ??

i tried folder - > file extension but the file still opens with new one on a webpage , i think this is one of those mime extension like in netscape , any ideas ??
