Within a cell, replace multiple lines with one line

Within a cell, if you have the following

-foo1 ab1
-foo2 ab2
-foo3 ab3

How would you replace the carriage return line feed to get this in the cell, instead:

-foo1 ab1 -foo2 ab2 -foo3 ab3

Instead of the contents being on multiple lines, it is on one line of the cell

=SUBSTITUTE(A1,CHAR(10)," ")
[/tt]
