I have a customer who would like to prevent Caller ID from showing when they receive an incoming call to prevent them from "screening" the call. They are on PRI lines, and do not want to withhold it system wide.

I'm thinking there may be a transfer of some sort that will give the transfering parties extension number, rather than outside caller ID.

Send the incoming call to an slt port and loop it back thru a trunk then set the analog trunk to loop start.

This will make calls to that DID come in without ICLID!

call comes into short code which strips cli ie...
SC NoCli
TN 200s"0"
LN 0
Feat dial Ext

200 being the destination

Thanks man, that seems to be working pretty well!

Cool!

Does W work on shortcodes applied to incoming calls also?

Just put in

SC NoCli
TN 200s"Withheld"
LN 0
Feat dial Ext

Then you will see Withheld in the display of the stations.
You can put there any comment you want.

Don't worry, I'll give it a go when I get a second away from the mysteries of 3.2 - so far strange but nice.
