Im pretty new to this cisco model and was wondering if anyone knew if i can connect a client labtop to the wireless bridge with 80211.b? or do i have to buy another wap? if it is possible to configure is there documentation someone can lead me to so that i can access the bridge? i mean is it web accessible? can someone lead me in the right direction... i have to configure two labtops for wireless access and dont' know if i can tap into the 350 series airnet or have to buy something else

Thanks, PAUL

You can use the workgroup bridges on client stations, but for workgroup bridges to talk, they must associate with a WAP. Also the workgroup bridges only support 5 client stations, due to mac address limiting..

Thnx for replying buckweet...I have my airnet 350 series tied into a switch that uses 15 pcs on it..the aironet is pointing to a building across the street which is the access point to the internet and server. with these 15 pcs using the wireless connection will i be able to add a wireless labtop to it? should i check the model of the access point? which on do i have to tab into, or can? can i use the bridge as the access point or the one across the street? also is there a way to telnet or see the configurations of the bridge or would this be done at the access point?

Thanks, PAUL

You would need an access point at the local site, or if the main access point is close enough for the laptop (highly doubt this) you could use that. If you know the IP you can telnet to it..
