Hi everyone!
I have about 14 laptops with built in wireless. These laptops all access the wireless network at our office and at each of the users homes. I am having a problem with the laptops taking an enormouse amount of time to log in when no wireless network is available.
I am assuming that the wireless dhcp is trying to search for any available network to get an IP address from. Is there a way to specify a time out for searching for a wireless network?
My clients complain of at least a 3 minute wait from pressing Ctrl-Alt-Del to log in, to the explorer interface loading, yet when a wireless network is available, they are able to log in withing 30 seconds.
Help me please
