Wireless access problem since SP2

I have just updated my laptop with SP2. I went through and removed all the firewall settings, etc., since I have my own firewall. Now I find that I can access the Internet just fine through the LAN at work, but for some reason cannot access any web pages using the wireless connection at home or at work. It connects to both wireless connections, and shows the connections on the task bar, but when I try to access a web page I get nothing! (Page not found). I set up my other laptop that I have not updated yet and tried to compare the services and I don't really see anything strange. Does anyone know what this could be?

In all likeliehood there is a newer driver for your wireless adapter.

In addition, one common issue is the LSP layer becomes corrupted. Start, Run, netsh winsock reset catalog
and then restart the computer and test.
