Hi all:
My computer had the following problem:
Windows would boot up but as soon as it desktop appeared on the screen,it would restart. No time to take any action.Startup Menu items would not work and I only managed to run in Safe Mode once.
I tried lots of solutions and suggestions in this thread and other threads to no avail.
I also have Win98 installed and noted that the time on my computer keeps changing after each shutdown. So,I cahnged the battery on motherboard and guess what?
The problem was solned by this action.
I have read many threads on this subject and thought this may help others too.
Happy surfing to every one.
