I have problem installing the driver for Logitech Clicksmart 310 for WindowsXP.I get an error message: Windows installer can't start due to that windows is running in safe mode or because previously installation was interrupted and i can't continue installation.Has anybody any idea how to solve this problem.
Note that i use dual boot WinXP & Win98 and under Win98 works fine.
Thank you.

Did you try using System Restore to go back to a restore point before the problem?

What mouse have you got listed in Device Manager? Have a look at the options available to you via the properties page of the mouse. Options such as "roll back", "update", "troubleshoot" or "uninstall" should be available to you.

Maybe the Add New Hardware wizard can help you.

Thank you very much for your responce but it's not a mouse it's a digital camera and i found out that driver is installed ok ( i check this using microsoft movie maker and is working ok ) but the problem still with the installation of the application program Quickcam. The exact error message is :
ERROR MESSAGE:
“Install shield wizard Interrupted

The Wizard was interrupted before Logitech Quickcam Could be completely installed.
Your system has not been modified. To complete installation at another time, please run setup again.
Click finish to exit wizard.”

If I run setup again, I get the same error.
Again thank you for your response.

Sorry about the misunderstanding, I take better pictures with a mouse anyway.

Try these links, it seems in July, Logitech made a lot of amendments to their software and there is a 30mb download available that requires version 8.1 of Direct X running.
