Hi, I want to setup a windows xp mail server but the mail server software asks for a dns server. I don't want to use the isp's dns server. I had win2k server installed a while back and was able to setup a dns server on the same computer as the mail and the mail worked fine. Is there a program or something to setup a dns server on the mail server itself?

There are various programs you can install to create a DNS server on XP. One that I can think of right off is:
Raiden DNSD 1.108
