WinXP and Office 2k Standard 1

I have an odd thing happening here. I just replaced a user's WinNT PC with a new XP Pro PC. Both the old system and the new one have Office 2k Standard installed, but now, with XP, there are severe saving issues. Basically, the user is able to open up a couple documents and modify/save them as normal, but after that, everything she tries to open says its being modified by another user, and it has to open as Read-Only. The catch is that these files are in HER user folder, so no one else can even touch them, let alone modify them...

So far, every search on this has come up empty. Does anyone have any ideas or fixes? <<<<[flux]>>>>
