I have a user that is running a win2k computer with service pack 4. When the user goes into MS word, sometimes she will get a Winword.exe32 error. When she restarts the application, the error goes away, how can this be fixed and what is it? Thanks for listening.

Winword.exe error

When mentioning errors it is helpful, if possible, to state what the error message is. Also "goes into" can describe a variety of things. Was Word loaded from opening an email attachment? Was Word loaded from double clicking a file in Explorer? Was Word loaded just as an application (that is, not loaded with an existing file)?
So we have a user getting "a Winword.exe32 error".
Hmmmmm. Hard to say what it is. Or how to fix it. More details please. Thanks.

From what i was told, the user was just entering MS Word from the desktop itself, the whole system is citrix based. The error message although is unclear to me also, all i was told was that there was a winword exe32 error. I did try to look this up on Google and many other searches and found nothing =/
Then I for one can not suggest anything, as there is not much "an error" tells me. Good luck. Although....when you tried to look it up on Google...what on earth did you put in?? "Winword.exe32 error"? You found nothing? Not surprised. Although, how could you tell? Putting in "winword.exe error" gets thousands of hits. Would like to help but it is simply too vague to know what to say.
You do not state what version of Word.
You do not state if it fully crashed, or if there was one of the "serious error" message (since you do not know I understand it is hard to say what happened).
See the user has the same thing happen again,and try and get them to record something.
