winsock dll

Is there a way to just install the winsock dll file back on. I tried a dirty install but no go.

Use Recovery Consol, as you have access to the expand command.

Expand windock.DL_ c:\windows\system32\winsock.dll

Oops, you need to point at the CD Drive:

expand d:\i386\winsock.dl_ c:\windows\system32\winsock.dll
