Hi,
New to the forum and hope someone can help.
I have a NT PDC running WINS. I needed to reboot the server on Thursday evening, since then WINS will not start giving the standard database corruption message.
I have done everything I can think of to get it to restart
1. Tried a backup copy of the database
2. Ran Jetpack
3. Tried deleting everything to create a new database.
4. Even uninstalled WINS, rebooted, re-installed etc and it still wont start.

Any advice would be welcome.

since then WINS will not start giving the standard database corruption message.
Why should it be giving database corrupt message? Is there a problem with the database that should be sending errors? Thanks.

Thanks for your reply Glen.
As far as I'm aware the database was fine until I rebooted the server and then I got the error message that the database was either corrupt or missing etc.
I have done everything I can think of to try to rectify the problem but it still persists.
I have looked all over the net for similar problems but haven't found any.
