Migrated my WINS Server from a retiring server to a new server. via MS Q193820, Scenario 1, servers keeping the same IP Address,

did all the steps, bound the new IP to the new server.
got everything up and running w/o a problem,

when I got into wins Manager, it sees the WINS database on the same server for both IP Address

ie.

newwinssvr 10.0.0.3
newwinssvr 10.0.0.23
bkpwinssvr 10.0.0.12

newwinsserver originally had 10.0.0.23, I added 10.0.0.3 when I moved the service, I'd like to get rid of the 10.0.0.23 reference without loosing the IP on the server as it has other functionalities also.

not sure is this is a problem
or just a nusance,

10.0.0.12 is pushing and pulling from and to 10.0.0.3
it's replication partner

thanks for any input.
