I have a Windows 2000 DC / Exchange Server its a well spec'ed Compaq ML370 with plenty of RAM. Last week this server crashed and since then it is taking an age to boot up, about 25 minutes compared to 5 mins it used to take.
No updates have been aplied and no hardware has been added.
I have done a chkdsk and all looks fine.
I have a mirrored disk set in there and swapped the drives to see if it was a drive speed issu but im getting the same. its the 'Starting windows screen that takes all the time.
Any ideas? Thanks
