I am having an issue with NT4.0 SP6a.
It seems that sometime in the middle of the night it loses it's default gateway. The switch that it is connected to can still arp the machine. I can ping the host ip from the router. I can clear the arp and mac tables on the switch and router and it immediately reappears. But the server still cannot ping the DGW. Only when I route -f and re-add the DGW does it start pinging again.
Any ideas ?
