WinMgmt.exe Error

I have a problem with WinMgmt.exe. I don't know how I got it. It occurred after I defragged my pc.

I tried reinstalled Service pack 2, repaired it with Win 2k. They didn't work.

The error message is:

WinMgmt.exe

The instuction at "0x77fcb39" refernced memory at "0x203b9e6e." The memory could not be "written."

I have seen a similar message on an Office xp install. When installed, the system started bringing that type of error up. MY solution was a complete uninstall and reinstall of Office. Your situation involves the OS...You say You have tried SP2 reload, and a REpair install??. I suggest a repair install, then load sp1, then sp2. also, if you have installed any new networking, or really any software, you should take a stabb at reinstalling that software first.
