Hi!
Gotta serious problem after applying SP3 on a w2k adv. server.
Server boots but when the logon propt should appear all I get is a error message that says winlogon.exe crashed. click ok to terminate cancel to debug.
Either choice reboots the server, and there is a loop. server is up and running, answers to ping and mmc calls from other machines but no user authentication can be done that needs winlogon.exe.
Anyone seen this and have a remedy?
