Hoping that I'll find a WinFax expert here. Just converted to a new computer running XP Pro from an old system running Win98. Found the File and Settings Transfer wizard to be very slick for all of the MS stuff, but have a question on the WinFax send and receive logs.

I found the files which contain the logs, and I can move it over to the new system, but I do dnot know how to integrate the information into the current logs so that the history will be accessible theough WinFax on the XP system.

Anybody know how to import this data?

Have you tried copying the old files overtop of the new files in XP? Search for the same file extension in XP to find the location.

Thanks Volkoff007 - the problem is, the sent and received faxes from the old computer (Win98) are .fxr and .fxd files and appear in the logs in WinFax. On the XP system, copying these files went fine, but the files do not appear in the send/receive logs. I thought that I could export them and then import them like I did with the phone books, but when you export a log you can choose to export to a dbase or ASCII file type....then when you go to import them, it doesn't give you either of those two file types as options to import. This has been a problem with a few of our sales reps when they have gotten new computers. Any advice? Thanks!
