Windows XP reboots repeatedly on startup even in Safe Mode

Here's what I have:
Duron 600 overclocked to 850 (worked fine for over a year, and three months with XP)
A-Bit motherboard???
Nvidia GeoForce 2 MX
512 MB RAM
8 gig HD (boot)
10 gig HD (slave)
DVD ROM
Soundblaster generic
Realtek Ethernet Card

Here's what I changed:
I got an E-machines Celery 800 in lieu of payment, but it had no ram. So I took out one 256 meg SIMM/DIMM (sorry) from my Duron and put it in. It worked fine.

I tightened a loose screw on the Soundcard of my Duron, plugged in a USB Mouse and USB Keyboard it wasn't using before, and turned it on.

After getting to the Windows XP loading screen, it rebooted. Safe mode (and Command Prompt) does the same thing.

I took off the USB devices. Still rebooted. Took out the soundcard. Still rebooted. Unplugged the second Hard Drive. Still rebooted. I put the RAM back in. Still rebooted.

I'm sure this is a hardware issue of some kind. The Duron has been using its current monitor (that I got with the Celeron) for two days so far, no problem.

I can't get it to boot to get into the Control Panel and keep it from booting on any failure. I have a backup Windows XP system (that I'm on now).

Please help guys.

I have seen exactly the same problem using XP when some software was installed (I think the software was for a scanner that XP did not like.)I had to finally format and install XP again. If this was win9x or win ME you could use scanreg/restore to maybe fix this. Hopefully someone will have a fix for you. Good Luck.

Can you get into the Bios and set it to boot one step at a time and see what it is crashing out on?
